Terms & Services
Last updated: October 1, 2026. Please read these terms carefully before using tazerweapons.com or our digital insurance services.
1. Agreement To Terms
These Terms & Services (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and Tazer Insurance, operating the website located at tazerweapons.com and related online portals (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, submitting a quote request, creating an account, or clicking to accept these Terms where presented, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Services. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” refers to both you individually and the organization.
2. Eligibility And Account Registration
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Services for insurance transactions. Certain products may impose additional eligibility requirements based on underwriting guidelines, licensing, or insurable interest rules.
When you register for an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to maintain and promptly update such information. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at support@tazerweapons.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Nature Of Website Content
Information on the Services—including coverage descriptions, premium examples, blog articles, FAQs, and downloadable guides—is provided for general educational purposes only. It does not constitute an offer to sell insurance, a binder of coverage, or a guarantee that a particular policy form or rate will be available in your jurisdiction.
Only the issued policy contract, including declarations page, endorsements, and riders, defines your actual coverage, limits, exclusions, deductibles, and duties after loss. In the event of any inconsistency between marketing materials on the Services and your policy, the policy controls.
4. Quotes, Applications, And Underwriting
Quote indications generated through the Services are non-binding estimates based on information you supply. Final premium and terms are subject to verification, inspection, loss history reports, credit-based insurance scores where permitted, and underwriting approval.
You agree that all statements made in an application are true and complete to the best of your knowledge. Material misrepresentation or omission may void coverage from its inception or result in claim denial under applicable law and policy provisions. We may rescind or modify coverage if underwriting review reveals undisclosed hazards or prior losses.
5. Payment Terms
Premium payment schedules appear on your billing statement. Failure to pay when due may result in cancellation for non-payment subject to statutory notice requirements. Reinstatement may require payment of past-due amounts, signed statements of no loss, and underwriting consent.
Electronic funds transfer authorization, card payments, and installment service fees are disclosed at checkout. You authorize us and our payment processors to charge selected payment methods for premiums, fees, and endorsed changes.
6. Claims Reporting And Cooperation
Policyholders must report claims promptly through approved channels and cooperate in investigation, including providing recorded statements, documents, and access to damaged property. Fraudulent claims or staged losses violate these Terms and applicable criminal statutes.
Digital claim uploads must not include unrelated sensitive data. You grant us a license to use submitted photos and documents for claim handling, fraud detection, and training, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Services for unlawful purposes; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or other users’ accounts; (c) introduce malware or automated scraping tools that impair site performance; (d) impersonate another person or misrepresent insurable interest; (e) harvest email addresses for spam; or (f) interfere with security features.
We may suspend or terminate access, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or poses risk to the Services or other users.
8. Intellectual Property
The Services, including logos, text, graphics, software, and compilation thereof, are owned by Tazer Insurance or licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Services for personal or internal business use related to obtaining insurance.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our content except as permitted by law or with prior written consent.
9. Third-Party Links And Tools
The Services may link to third-party websites, payment gateways, telematics apps, or repair networks. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, privacy practices, or performance. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
10. Electronic Communications And E-Sign
By using the Services, you consent to receive communications electronically, including policy documents, renewal notices, claim updates, and marketing messages where permitted. You agree that electronic signatures and records satisfy legal writing requirements where applicable.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TAZER INSURANCE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
Premium savings examples and statistics on the website are illustrative and not guarantees of future results.
12. Limitation Of Liability
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TAZER INSURANCE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR WEBSITE-RELATED CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS (USD $100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR DIGITAL SERVICES IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable insurance or consumer protection laws, or liability for bodily injury caused by our negligence where such limitation is prohibited.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tazer Insurance from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of the Services, or fraudulent insurance activity.
14. Governing Law And Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state where Tazer Insurance maintains its principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where superseded by mandatory insurance regulations in your state of residence.
Disputes relating to these Terms or the Services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, parties agree to binding arbitration on an individual basis, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property or unauthorized access. Class actions and representative proceedings are waived to the extent permitted by law.
15. Changes To Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting an updated version with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes will be highlighted on the Services or sent to registered users. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
16. Severability And Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of future enforcement.
17. Assignment
You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, provided the assignee honors these Terms with respect to your data.
18. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural catastrophes, widespread outages, labor disputes, or governmental actions. Policyholder claim obligations during catastrophes are governed by your policy and applicable emergency orders.
19. Contact
Questions about these Terms may be directed to support@tazerweapons.com. Policy-specific disputes should reference your policy number and will be routed to the appropriate claims or customer service unit.
